MainStreet Oceanside (MSO) works to promote and revitalize the downtown district of Oceanside, California. MSO was certified as a member of the Californa Main Street Association in 2000 and is an accredited member of the National Trust Main Street Center. MSO is also a member of the California Downtown Association.

MainStreet Oceanside was formed as a 501(c)6 non-profit corporation and is currently self-supporting with no funding from any governmental source. Revenues for the organization derive from membership dues and continuing enterprises including the Farmers Market, the Sunset Market and the Beach Services program. Profits from these activities are used to enhance economic development and support the downtown business community.
